Antiquing In Middle America

I went to an antique mall a few days ago. I haven’t really done that in a while. I love to browse around and look at all the worthless junk. Sometimes you’ll find a needle in a haystack, but my main objective is to observe the history of objects. What’s fascinating is the type of things that people had to use in everyday life that we as a society today wouldn’t know what to do with.

So my 5 year-old daughter and I embarked on a journey to a local antique mall. We went there in search of a present for my mom’s birthday; something preferably to do with chickens. While we didn’t find any worth snatching up we did about two hours of riffling through the booths. I took a few pictures to illustrate some of the “treasures” that we came across.
